About Vibrationdamage.com
Vibrationdamage.com is a free, public service resource for those who have experienced damage in their homes or other structures,
possibly as a
result of vibration from construction activities. It also provides information and help for those who may have construction pending in their area and want to prevent damage. The site is directed mainly at homeowners, but
responsible construction companies, attorneys, consultants and others with an interest in vibration damage or monitoring or construction damage claims may find the information useful.
We also maintain large databases of information on vibration damage occurrences around the world, provided by our visitors, and report the findings from those databases in both versions of the CVDG, with extensive content in the Professional
Edition. Such information is the only publicly-available analysis of damage occurence, types, and circumstances anywhere in the world.
Vibrationdamage.com has a Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/vibrationdamage/. There, visitors can find additional vibration damage content not available on the Vibrationdamage.com or in the downloadable PDF, as
well as leave their own comments and questions.
Our vibration damage-related sites are all standalone extensions of our main company site at https://silchemy.com. You can find out more
about the broader range of our scientific consulting there, as well as learn about our research interests and contributions.
Paid Consulting
We write and run Vibrationdamage.com as a public service. If you need more help, we can also provide expertise in the following areas as paid consultants:
We do not currently perform vibration monitoring, although we can assist you in doing your own and analyzing the data for you. Consulting Rates Our current consulting rates are
$400 (USD) per hour of billed work, with a required retainer of $4000 (USD), which covers the initial work. Work done outside the state of New Mexico is billed at a flat rate of $4000 (USD) per day. Reasonable and customary travel expenses are also billed to
the client, if travel is necessary. We do not bill for time spent solely in travel. On a case-by-case basis, we may adjust these rates downward, at our sole option, for some non-profit organizations. Full terms and conditions are
found in our consulting agreement.
You can contact Dr. Zeigler through our Contact Us page or by e-mail to drzeigler@vibrationdamage.com. Initial consultations are free and without obligation
for either party. The free Construction Vibration Damage Guide for Homeowners (CVDG) and the more technical and extensive CVDG Professional Edition provide a good
introduction to our capabilities and knowledge.
